Chiz: Foto ni Ortonio na may earpiece, AI
MANILA, Philippines — Nilinaw ni Senate Impeachment Court Presiding Officer Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa ika-20 araw ng impeachment trial na hindi totoo at AI-generated ang kumalat na larawan ni Lemuel Ortonio, hostile witness, na umano’y may suot na earpiece.
“After Mr. Ortonio testified before this court, an image of him allegedly wearing an earpiece was widely circulated on the internet… It was an AI generated image and simply false,” ani Escudero.
Dagdag pa niya, ear piercing at hindi earpiece ang nakita sa harap ng fold helix ng tainga ni Ortonio.
“What he had was… an ear piercing in the front fold helix of his ear. Not an earpiece,” paliwanag ng senador.
Si Ortonio, Assistant Secretary at Assistant Chief of Staff ng Office of the Vice President (OVP), ay tumestigo bilang hostile witness kaugnay ng umano’y maling paggamit ng confidential funds ni VP Sara Duterte.
“No witness, while testifying, shall possess, have access to or use any earpiece, headset, cellphone, smartwatch, smart glasses, or any other similar device capable of transmitting or receiving information or communication,” sabi ni Chiz.
Bawal din, ayon sa kanya, ang anumang komunikasyon o signal mula sa sinuman habang tumetestigo. Ang paggamit ng medical accessibility device ay maaari lamang kung aprubado ng korte.
