Air21 builds BPO training center in Isabela State University

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The business process outsourcing unit of Filipino logistics giant Air21 will set up shop at the Isabela State University (ISU)-Cauayan City campus to provide actual BPO work as well as operations management training to college students of the state university.

The establishment of the BPO Training Center will be part of an ambitious initiative of the ISU to set up a Business Intelligence Research and Development Center in the ISU-Cauayan campus as the city aims to become one of the so-called “Next Wave City” or the next hub for the information technology-business process management sector.

“With a call center operating inside the campus, we can provide actual BPO work immersion and this will also include the management aspect of operating a BPO center for our students,” ISU president Ricmar Aquino said.
