The Women of Zonta Manila 1

The Zonta Club of Manila 1, the first Zonta Club in Asia, installed its officers and directors for 2014-2016 in elegant ceremonies held at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.  Co-chaired by past president and past Area 1 director Nonie Basilio and director Minerva Tanseco, the well-attended dinner-dance was graced by guest of honor and keynote speaker incoming Zonta International District 17 governor Lalivan Karnchanachari, Esther Vibal, Baby Perez Sison, Daisy Arce, and other VIPs from Zonta and other socio-civic and cultural organizations.  The lady of the hour, the newly installed president of Zonta Club of Manila 1 Nila Mata, in her acceptance speech, vowed to continue the services of Zonta Manila 1 (which is now on its 62nd year) and bared her plan to expand the vocational scholarship program of the club.  Congratulations and more power!
