Train hits 2 kids in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines - A boy and his female cousin, both seven years old, were hurt when they were hit by a commuter train in Barangay North Daang Hari, Taguig City yesterday morning.

Jericho Magbutong and Ara Mae Magbutong were playing along the railroad tracks when they were sideswiped by a Manila-bound train from Laguna at around 10:15 a.m., police reports said.

The victims were taken to the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.
