CEBU, Philippines — The Puresteel Manufacturing Batch 2011, 04 The Win Batch 2004, and FADI Batch 2021 stretched their perfect starts to 3-0 in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 27 at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles Arena in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

Bradley Bacaltos unloaded 23 points, four rebounds, and three steals, while Bernard Chioson produced a solid double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds laced with four assists and four steals as Batch 2011 rolled to its third straight win with an 82-59 blowout of Insular Square Batch 2005.

Elddie Cabahug dropped 28 points on top of nine boards and three dimes, while Antonio Datan netted 16 points but their efforts went down the drain for Batch 2005.

On the other hand, Franco Te bulldozed his way to 20 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and three blocks as Batch 2004 spanked Subtero Batch 2006, 72-59.

Te got huge support from Christopher Consunji and Gino Paolo Reyes who connived for 30 points for Batch 2004, which joined Batch 2011 on top of Division B leaderboard.

Mark Blanco finished with 18 points, while Daren Ong had 12 points but to no avail as Batch 2006 slipped to 1-2.

In Division C, Batch 2021 remained unscathed in three starts after thrashing CSAS Batch 2024, 63-38.

Martin Patrick Dumon scored 11 spiked with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks, while Josiah Villamayor filled the stats sheet with 10 points, 14 boards, four assists, one block, and one steal for the FADI-backed squad.

RJ Dacalos finished with 15 points and nine rebounds in a losing cause for Batch 2024.

In other result, Bright Lamps N’ Style Batch 2022 rode on the 35-point explosion of Uriel Avila to edge Global Star Motors Batch 2020, 79-74.

Avila also pulled down 13 rebounds, passed away four assists, and picked up two steals, while Tristan Rey Fuentes chipped in 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals to help Batch 2022 improve their record to 2-1.

Mitch Almodal posted 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists, but couldn’t prevent Batch 2020 from absorbing its second loss in three games.
