TTEC Dragons keep East lead in Inter-BPO caging

CEBU, Philippines — The TTEC Dragons outlasted TDCX, 56-52, in their highly physical match in the Hoop Nation Inter-BPO Basketball League powered by Hype Pro Cebu at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Franz Maquiling cashed in 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists as TTEC kept its hold of the solo lead in the East Coast with a 9-1 win-loss mark.

Syman Tan Yu had 15 points for TDCX, which crashed to its eighth loss in 10 games.

On the other hand, Conduent spanked Optum, 70-62, to join Dyninno at second place in the East on identical 7-2 records.

Khent Rudinas showed the way for Conduent with 24 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Nicole John Sultan had 13 points, five rebounds, and one assist but to no avail as Optum dropped to 3-6.

In the other result, the Wipro Tigers roared past the Newfold Wolves, 76-66, to stay on top of the West Coast with a 7-1 slate.

Jhon Paul Faustino starred for the Tigers with 20 points on top of seven rebounds and eight assists.

Ralph Belarmino finished with a solid double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds but his efforts went for naught as the Wolves suffered their only second setback in nine starts.
