Baby Lancers stay perfect with 51-point rout of CIT-U
CEBU, Philippines — All-Star forward Joshua Yerro had a spectacular double-double show of 29 points and 22 rebounds as the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers eviscerated the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens, 118-67, to stay perfect in the 18th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc.(CESAFI) men’s basketball tournament yesterday at the Cebu Coliseum.
Yerro, who also dished out six assists in a stunning display of hardcourt versatility, was backed up by flashy guard Gabriel Cometa with 24 points and Mar Leandro Actub, who posted 16 points and 11 boards as the Baby Lancers stretched their unbeaten run to 6-0.

The Baby Lancers grew even fiercer and hotter as the match progressed, turning an 80-53 advantage after three quarters into a 51-point massacre at the final buzzer.
Reigning CESAFI Juniors MVP Beirn Anthony Laurente punched in 19 points spiked with five 3-pointers as the Baby Lancers remained as the only unbeaten team in the league.
The Wildkittens, on the other hand, suffered their fifth loss in seven games. (FREEMAN)
