After Bohol, Coach Carz basketball camp goes to Zamboanga Sibugay
CEBU, Philippines — After Bohol, the annual Coach Carz Basketball Training Camp swings to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay on April 24-28.
The five-day cage clinic that is part of the Ipil Sports Festival will be graced by PBA superstar Arwind ‘Spiderman’ Santos of the San Miguel Beermen.
Open to aspiring hoopsters aged six to 18 years old, the camp will be handled by veteran coach Chelito Caro of five-time Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Juniors champion Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles.
Caro will be teaching the students on the fundamentals of playing hoops such as proper dribbling, shooting, passing and footwork. He will also take up some offensive and defensive drills.
Entry fee of the camp backed up by ARQ Builders, SG Merchandise, Gaisano Capital, Dunkin' Donuts and MC Mai is inclusive of a basketball and training jersey.
