All set for first Cebu City Triathlon
CEBU, Philippines – Everything is already in place for the 1st Cebu City Triathlon this Sunday at the Cebu City Sports Center.
To make the competition more exciting, the organizing Cornerstone Group has opened 10 slots for the relay event.
The organizers have also extended the registration period until further notice.
So far, a total of 180 individuals spread in different age-categories have already enlisted for the three-in-one tilt.
The categories to be contested are the men and women’s elite, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 40-44, 45-49, and 50-above.
A total of P100,000 in cash prize is up for grabs in this post-Sinulog race.
For those who have not yet registered, one may sign up at the Cebu City Sports Center, 30 Kitchen + Bar at The Gallery in Mabolo, or via online through www. cornerstone8080events.com. However, triathletes who are 15 to 17 years old cannot register online as they need a parent's consent.
Entry fee is pegged at P2,500 inclusive of a race bag, belt, finisher's medal and shirt, and visor. Those who joined the 8080 Triathlon in San Remigio are asked to pay only P2,000.
