Leylam, Liloan FC drub foes in Aboitiz Cup
CEBU, Philippines - Leylam won their first assignment with a 3-0 thrashing of Rising Sun in the Group C, while Liloan came through with a 1-0 triumph over Don Bosco United. Harold Buot made the lone goal for Liloan in the 82nd minute of the game.
Don Bosco United bounce back as they remained unbeaten in the under-23 bracket in the expense of Team Leylam, 4-1. Subangdaku FC crushed the University of the Visayas (UV), 3-0. Subangdaku , UV and Leylam now tied in the second place of the standing with 1-1 win-loss record.
In the above-38 bracket, ERCO FC pulled off a 10-1 annihilation of Hipodrom FC, while KN Ferraren silenced Kevlar-Queen City United, 2-0.
In the Inter BPO division, Accenture upended Xlibris, 3-1, while Innodata demolished Eperformax, 4-0. The NCR and Lexmark match together with Stream FC and Convergys game both resulted in a 1-all draw. Lexmark outsmarted University of Convergys, 1-0, in the women’s Inter-BPO.
In the inter-company bracket, Kalayaan Engineering and T-United fought in a 2-all draw. Team Leylam pulled off an 8-0 whitewash over Arkiteks United, while ERC FC crushed San Miguel, 4-0. (FREEMAN)
