Amchels, Davies Paints inch closer to title clash in Don Bosco hoopla

Former UC Webmasters team captain Kenneth Kern Sesante unloaded 16 points as Amchels breathe fire from start to finish to scorch Batch '98, 76-41, while Davies Paints banked on a second-quarter explosion to repulse Bullvets '94, 74-70.

Amchels raced to a 19-8 start and after closing the first half with a 38-19 advantage, they kept their blistering offensive in the remaining two quarters resulting into a masterful 35-point demolition of the hapless Batch '98.

In the main game, Davies Paints trailed by five after the first 10 minutes of play, 12-17, but unleashed a furious 22-8 assault in the second canto to turn the game on its head at the break, 34-25, for good. They then weathered a spirited endgame resistance by Bullvets to escape with a four-point victory.
