Vidal, Dapisnon top downhill contest

 CEBU, Philippines - Former top wall climber and downhiller Jun-Jun Vidal broke his silence in the local sports scene by winning the Speed Threat Downhill Attack in San Carlos Heights subdivision in Brgy. Quiot, this city.

Vidal ruled the open division with the time of two minutes and 26 seconds.

Victor Bagano grabbed the second spot with a 2:36.46 clocking followed by Eusebio Ravanes, Jr. in 2:36.59. The fourth and fifth spots went to Maximo Villarta (2:45) and Elwin “Bawing” Bucariza (2:48), respectively.

Wendel Dapisnon came out the fastest in the beginners class in two minutes and 41 seconds, just four seconds ahead of Karl Laurence Amatong.

The third to fifth placers were Jude Diaz (2:55), Ferdinand Gonzales (2:95), and Ray “El Chico” Tan (3:04). (FREEMAN)
