CEBU, Philippines - Sports enthusiasts will have something to look forward to as Metro Sports offers four sporting events and a hip hop dancing class in their upcoming Metro Sports Summer Camp 2011 which will kick off on April 4 at Salinas Drive Lahug, this city.
Through the entire summer, Metro Sports will be alive with the energy, passion and smile of some athletes, skilled, united and determined to deliver a great and unique sports camp in the Queen City of the South.
It will feature the following sporting events – badminton, basketball, taekwondo and futsal/indoor soccer with basic and advance training programs.
Futsal or indoor soccer will be on April 16-20 and 25-29 and the rest of the sports will start on April 4.
This is a rare opportunity for Cebuano athletes and youth to train like the professionals.
To handle the summer athletic programs are coaches namely Bong Pineda of the University of the Visayas Green Lancers (basketball), Joseph Ricaza (badminton), Glenn Ramos of Don Bosco Technology Center (futsal), Jorge Rodriguez (taekwondo) and Jorperglone Barsalote (hip hop dancing).
