CEBU, Philippines - Some of Cebu’s top cue artists will once again test each other’s shotmaking skills with the staging of the Borak Billiard Zone’s 1st 9-Ball Tournament starting today at the E-Zone, formerly Paseo in Panagdait, Brgy. Kasambagan, this city. Gametime is set at 7 pm.
The elimination round will run for four days until the 25th, while the championship will be played on the 26th.
Entry fee is pegged at P250, while the re-entry fee is set at P200.
Aside from customized cue sticks, the top four winners will also receive cash prizes, with the champion taking home P20,000.
The second will pocket P10,000, while the second and third will receive P5,000 and P2,000, respectively. The fifth to eight will each get P500, while the ninth to 16th placers will earn a consolation prize of P300 apiece.
A special prize of P1,000 will be given away to the “Trick Shot King.”
All the players are obliged to wear semi-formal attire during the competition.
