Flores bags two titles in MS motocross tilt

- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -

CEBU, Philippines - John Flores pulled off a double victory in the 5th leg of the 2010 Ms Motosuit Motocross Series dubbed as the 2nd Mayor Celestino Martinez, Jr. Motocross Cup in Bogo City the other day.

Flores, who missed to take home a champion’s trophy during the fourth leg and got injured in another race outside this series, is back in the grove winning the expert and intermediate classes.

Despite a mechanical trouble during the first heat in the experts race, Flores doubled his efforts to claim the title.

As if not contented with such feat, Flores also won the intermediate class with ease.

Flores ’ closest opponent Wilbert Marano won the novice open production class.

Seigfred Ornopia of Keiz BJ took advantage of his familiarity over the racetrack being one of the racetrack designers himself to win another title under the executive A division.

Danao-based MTS Racing’s Noli Rom snatched the executive B title while Sergio “Bioman” Chua topped the executive C class.

Dongkey Sanchez also made sure not to go home empty-handed by winning the open enduro while Jay Sanico got the local enduro class.

BJ Pepito added feathers on his cap after winning the pewee category as Denmar Supatan dominated the mini class and Andan Beriso ruled the underbone category.

Jonas Pestaño won the “Wangits” or oldies category in the special event sponsored by Castrol Power One, Dr. Felipe Montejo, Sta. Cruz Dakit Agrivet, Global Forex & Remittance Co. Incorporated, Galing UK Shop, Hon. Yoyong Almirante and Rey Goco. (FREEMAN NEWS)
