CEBU, Philippines - It's once again a busy summer for taekwondo master Kenneth Toledo as the Kenn Taekwondo Training Center holds its annual summer clinic in four different venues starting on April 12 until May 21.
Youngsters and even the advanced jins may enrol in the nearest area where KTCC will set up its training camp including the Southhills International School, Bright Academy, Rivergate Mall in Mango Avenue and St. Benedict Learning Center.
At Rivergate, the training is scheduled three times a week from 3:30 to 5 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For those who want an early class, KTTC will be at Southhills on MWF from 9 to 10 am and at St.Benedict from 10:45 to 11:45 am also every MWF for beginners and TTHS for advanced belters.
Bright Academy, on the other hand, will host KTCC on Mondays and Fridays at 1:15 to 2 pm for kids aged four to six years old and at 2 to 3 pm for those seven years old and above.
Toledo, a 4th dan black belter and three-time US Big East Taekwondo champion, will personally handle the training program.
Toledo had been into the sport for 27 years now. Aside from his experience being an athlete before, he also worked as taekwondo instructor in New York under Grandmaster Richard Chun in 1992 and with GM Mark Williams in New Jersey in 1997.
He opened their own taekwondo gym along with Master Nathan Delgado in Dumont,New Jersey in 2000 until he decided to go back to Cebu in 2004 to put up his own training center.
