In the other collegiate match, the Lion Tiger-USPF Panthers will take on Prime Asia-DBTC Greywolves in a clash of winless squads. Likewise, their junior counterparts are gunning for their first win in the tournament.

Solo leader Enervon C-UC Junior Webmasters hope to extend their winning streak to four in a row when they square off against the 1-2 San Marino-USC Baby Warriors.

Both the Warriors and the Webmasters have one thing in common - they lost to the solo leader Ave Maria-USJR Jaguars and whoever wins tonight will keep the solo second spot.

The Warriors are a very dangerous opponents because of their shooting accuracy form the three-point territory aside from being too patient in their defense.

Giovanni Padillo had been very effective for USC, while Jabe Bautista, Michael Cantonao, Sam Hermosa and Joven Cid Cortes are now becoming more mature.

On the other hand, the Webmasters’ third unit are the most destructive juggernauts as they include the 6-foot-9 giant June Mar Fajardo, Moncrief Rogado, Edward Pao, Kevin Quilantang and Kelvin Juliane.

The 3-0 UC bantams are also the heavy favorites today against the 1-2 Baby Warriors. They rely on the solid crew of Alvin Labolabo, John Raphael Aranas, Clint Saramosing, Alfred Codilla, Jerei Marion Pingoy and Alexander Nazareno. (FREEMAN NEWS)
