Mountainbike event slated in Carmen Feb. 7

CEBU, Philippines - Some of Cebu’s mountainbike enthusiasts are up for another challenge as they showcase their stuff in the 1st Mayor’s Cup Mountainbike Race in Carmen on February 7.

The actual battle will take place in Brgy. Baring where a circuit racing track for the cross-country specialists is set.

A total of five categories will be contested, four of which are a mixed class while the other one is for the expert open.

The other classes include the combined junior, senior and veterans, beginners-executive and the fat boys-golden boys.

The top three winners in each division will take home cash prizes, while the fourth and fifth placers will get medals.

Registration fee is pegged at P150 inclusive of lunch. The first 50 participants who will join the motorcade prior to the race will get a free t-shirt. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
