CEBU, Philippines - Mario Borbon of Team X Racing emerged as the most bemedalled racer with two golds and a bronze medal during the inaugural phase of the Honda One Make Race Visayas-Mindanao Series at Kartzone in Brgy. Mabolo, this city.
Borbon dominated the 100-115cc and the 125cc superstock battle among the beginners.
Cyrus Racing’s Rauel “Keken” Cabahug and Jesioule Vega settled for second and third, respectively, in both races.
Borbon also placed third in the 4 automatic open for all Honda Beat bikes. Lyndon Requilme of Team Mac clinched the first place honors followed by Kenneth Ouano.
Requilme also topped the 125 novice open class after edging out Ernie Danguio Jr. of Powercycle and Christopher Manilse.
Danguio though had something to be happy about as he took home the 100-115cc novice open class crown.
