Visayas elims of Milo Junior tennis this Saturday
CEBU, Philippines - The search for the Visayas representatives to the Milo Junior Tennis National Championships takes place this Saturday at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.
Those who are interested to join the tournament have only until 5pm tomorrow to register for the two-day regional elimination.
The event is divided into three age brackets, the unisex 10-under and the boys and girls 12 and 14-under.
The winners of the Visayas elimination will be pitted against the best of the Mindanao, Luzon and National Capital Region this October in Manila .
The national champion will then represent the country to a tennis circuit in Malaysia later this year.
Although there is already a national championships in the Milo Little Olympics, a separate action is being staged for the Malaysia qualifying event to give a fair playing field for all as the MLO only has two levels, the elementary and secondary division with no age brackets.
