Penultimate leg of Garcia Airsoft set today in Argao

CEBU, Philippines - It’s now or never for the contending groups to claim a finals ticket as the Governor Gwen Garcia Airsoft Open enters its penultimate leg in Argao today.

The event organizers are expecting a total of 16 teams to vie for the top honors in the last qualifying round.

At the end of today’s stage, the scores of every team in all legs they have joined in will be summed up, with the top 16 advancing into the final battle on July 25 and 26 in Mandaue City .

Initially, the top three teams in each leg including that in Mandaue, Moalboal, Balamban, San Remigio and Argao are the ones which will move up to the championship leg.

However, with some teams dominating one leg after another, the organizers decided to change the rule into points system to give the rest a chance. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
