Rollyr Boyz, Heartfelt now 2-0 in FYA cagefest

CEBU, Philippines - The Rollyr Boyz of Punta Princesa Brgy. Capt. Rolly Diorico and Team Heartfelt subdued separate foes to share the overall lead with similar clean 2-0 slates in the F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) 1st Vice Mayor Mike Rama Cup at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.        

The Rollyr Boyz escaped with a 107-102 victory over the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (CIIB), while Heartfelt of team owner Grace Magsalay demolished the Park 'N Go Bakeshop, 92-58.       

 Chissar Llegunas and Dexter Caballero each scored 26 points for Rollyr Boyz, while Paul Basalo added 25 points.

The CIIB, which dropped to 1-1, was led by Frankie Capangpangan with 35 points followed by Arnel Maglinte with 25 markers.

Heartfelt, on the other hand, drew 34 points combined from Dodong Cabigas and Junrey Arreglo.

The FYA caging is backed up by Diorico, barangay councilor Ray Salgado and tournament chairman Boy Atillo.
