CEBU, Philippines - It's all systems go for the staging of the 4th Mayor Al Arquillano National Mountainbike Challenge on March 21 in San Francisco, Camotes Island .
Close to P80,000 in cash prizes as well trophies and medals are at stake for this national invitational competition, which is purely a cross-country event.
The categories to be contested are the open/elite, combined junior-senior, masters, veterans, executive, beginners and fat boys.
Organized by the local government of San Francisco and the Camotes Off-Road Bikers Association (CORBA) and officiated by the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE), the one-day race carries the theme “Bike for life, save Mother Earth,”.
Registration fee is pegged at P50 only per entry. This already includes a packed lunch and a certificate of participation.
The first 150 registrants will also get a souvenir t-shirt.
