CEBU, Philippines – The Mitchandre cagers pulled off a 96-95 cliffhanger over the Ashley squad to claim the seniors crown of the Lagtang Basketball Tournament at the newly-constructed Lagtang covered court.
Former UV Baby Lancer Arvie Cabañero fired a game-high 41 points to lead the Mitchandre’s relentless assault.
Earlier, Karl Rama charted 26 points as the Amihan Bag clinched the juniors title with an 82-65 demolition of RESSM Shoes.
In the opener, the Tigers defeated the Amihan Bag, 80-71, to snatch the 40-above diadem.
