Cebu - Several prizes are at stake for a hole-in-one in the Christmas Fun Golf Classic 2008 of Alta Vista Golf and Country Club, which tees off today at its course in the hills of Pardo, this city.
A Kia Carens courtesy of Gateway Motors (Kia) Cebu is up for grabs on holes 8 and 13. A class A share from Aznar Bros Realty is up on hole number 2.
RDAK Transport Equipment is putting a Toyota Starlet on the line for a hole-in-one on holes number 15 and 17. On Hole No. 15, Marist Royal Holidays Travel and Tours is also putting a trip to Hong Kong at stake while Gothong Southern Shipping is putting a first class accommodation to any destination for an ace on hole No. 6.
Norkis Trading has offered a Yamaha motorcycle at stake for an ace on all par-3 holes of the par-71 layout.
The two-day, 18-hole tournament is open exclusively to members of the club and guests of the sponsors.
The player with the lowest gross will be declared as overall champion while the top three players based on their net score for the different handicap classes will also be receiving trophies.
The biggest backer of the tournament is Globe Telecom. Major sponsors are Taiyo Yuden (Phils.) Inc. and Malayan Insurance Co. Inc.

Entry fee for the event is pegged at P2,000 and each participant will get a golf umbrella and can choose between a cap and a glove as the second giveaway.
The awards ceremony will be held tomorrow starting promptly with a dinner at 6 p.m. as Mamma Mia, a show featuring the scholars of Amaparito Lhuillier is set to start at exactly 7 p.m.
