Cebuano riders get ready for Larrazabal bikefest

Cebuano cyclists are getting ready to face the country’s best riders when they compete in the 6th Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival on April 3 to 6 at the Subic Bay Freeport.

For the first time, the event will be held in Subic. The first five stagings were in Ormoc City, the hometown of the late Terry Larrazabal, whom the competition is named after.

The bikefest features various cycling events. The mountainbikers starts with seven events including cross-country, single-speed, downhill, four-cross, mountain cross challenge, dirt jumping and trials competition.

Racers, on the other hand, will be vying in the 3-day, four-stage road race dubbed as Tour de Larrazabal (formerly Tour de Leyte).

BMX enthusiasts will compete in the Asian flatland competition, supercross and dirt-jumping contest.
