Albert Lim emerged as the ‘Bowler of the Month’ for May in the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, this city.
Lim came out the best in the men’s division after toppling a total of 1,603 pins in the eight-game series.
With the win, Lim gained a berth into the Bowler of the Year showdown sometime in December. The other qualifiers into the year-ending battle of champions were Ed San Jose, Luther Tapaya, Clark Tiu and Ed Aniñon.
Albert Co trailed Lim with 1,552 pinfalls followed by Bel Suelto at third with 1,548 pins.
The fourth to 10th placers in May’s final action were Wilbert Yu (1,543), Boy Co (1,530), Luther Tapaya (1,516), Lolong Uy (1,487), Bede Illano (1,452), Ed Aninon (1,390) and Alfred dela Cerna (1,314). — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
