DBTC-A grabs 4 titles in Founder's Day football tilt

Don Bosco Technology Center-Team A grabbed four of the five titles at stake in the DBTC 53rd Founder's Day Football festival over the weekend at the DBTC grounds.
DBTC-A ruled the Players 8, 12, and 14 and the Boys 17.
DBTC-A was not able to stop the towering Sacred Heart School-Jesuit during their championship battle in Players 10, placing only second. Declared MVP was Karlo Villamor of SHS-J.
Pomeroy Football Club placed second to DBTC-A in the Players 8 division with Agustin Rafael Roa of DBTC as the MVP.
In Players 12, Springdale ranked second with Nonito Salazar of DBTC winning the MVP plum.
DBTC teams A and B, on the other hand, occupied the first two slots in Players 14 and Boys 17 with Rikko Cedric De Guzman and Michael Pato as MVPs, respectively.
Melborne United FC ruled the Girls 17 after thrashing San Roque FC with Lisette Francine Parilla as MVP.
On the other hand, Bulwarks FC dumped SRFC to pocket the Ladies Open tiara. Carmela Openiano was hailed as the MVP.
Queen City United was on top in the Men's Open category and Cebu State College of Science and Technology settled for first runner-up honors.
QCU's Jack Reston took the MVP award.
QCU, after dominating the Men's Open, failed to score another championship title as they bowed to Don Bosco United in the finals of the 35-Above division.
Dionisio Pacquiao Jr. was declared MVP.
This coming Saturday and Sunday will be the Futsal tournament, which is still in commemoration of DBTC's 53rd anniversary and it will be played at the DBTC grounds.
