Hundreds of mountainbikers are expected to show up and join the event with Niño Surban eyeing back-to-back victories in the experts open class following his easy win in the Cebu Showdown early this year also at Willie's Place.
If the schedule of event permits, Surban may also be joining the downhill action again.
The downhill competition will be divided into four classes namely the expert, novice and executive and beginner's level.
On the other hand, the cross-country competition will have seven classes including the expert, seniors, juniors, masters I and II, beginners and the executive divisions.
The masters I action, according to Cebu City Sports Commission cycling director Andot Rubi, will be open for riders ages 30 to 39 years old and the master II class for 40 years old and above.
The cross-country event will start at Willie's Place and ends at Kan-Irag while the downhill competition will be played solely at Kan-Irag.
Cash prizes and trophies await the winners of the event which will have P300 as registration fee. It will already include an event jersey and a Globe sim pack.
The first registrants will also get a duffle bag.
