The Cebu Football Association (CebuFA) will nominate coaches to join a seminar organized by Japan Football Association (JAF) on March 13-19 at the J-Village in Fukushima, Japan.
CebuFA received an invitation from JFA, a member association of the Asian Football Confederation, to submit a resume outlining the potential candidates' experiences and other relevant information.
The course, which will be conducted by the JFA National Coaching Staff, is designed for coaches who are handling players in the "golden age" or U-12 age bracket. It will involve theoretical and practical sessions, coaching practice and written test.
JKA requires that participants should be actively involved in the development of its association, the ability to read and write in English and must be physically fit as successful delegates will be given JFA "C" License.
CebuFA president Jonathan Maximo said CebuFA will nominate coaches but they will submit it to Philippine Football Federation Technical Committee for deliberation on the credentials before endorsing it to JFA.
JFA will shoulder the accommodation, meals and airport transfers while the participant will cover other costs in joining the seminar.
"This is one of the benefits for coaches who chose to affiliate with CebuFA and PFF and the corresponding duties and obligations are for them to respect the laws of the game, especially on their participation of CebuFA/ PFF sanctioned tournaments and the adherence to the PFF Code of Discipline," said Maximo.
