Crazy Horse, Hiroshi FC make it 4-and-0

Crazy Horse and Hiroshi FC shared the Division A lead after beating separate foes in the 9th Aboitiz Men's Football League over the weekend at the San Roque field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Crazy Horse trounced University of San Jose-Recoletos, 1-0, while Hiroshi walloped Don Bosco Alumni FC, 2-0, to share the overall lead on identical 4-0 win-loss records.
The usually high-scoring Crazy Horse booters found a tough opponent in USJ-R as they could only afford a point late in the second half courtesy of Jan Michael Abellana at the 71st.
USJ-R, which managed to put up strong defensive walls against Crazy Horse, dropped to third place after absorbing its first loss in four starts.
Former armyman rocky Garciano, on the other hand, posted Hiroshi's two-goal haul.
Garciano banged in a goal with just three minutes gone by in the third period, before converting another attempt at the 48th to seal Hiroshi's win.
In another group A contest, Danao FC blanked the listless Juvio-Magone FC, 5-0, to chalk up its first win behind two goals each from by Rene Alvez and Andrelle Castro.
Alvez sneaked past his the defenders in the 19th and scored one more goal at the 78th, while Castro scored at the 44th and 69th.
Arnold Perez chipped in at the 24th for Danao.
In Group B, Wild Cebu escaped with a 2-1 victory over Cebu State College of Science and Technology.
