MANILA, Philippines — As the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte nears, her office has released an accomplishment report showing 92.32 percent utilization of its P913.24-million budget for priority programs in 2025.

In its 2025 accomplishment report, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) said the figure represents a disbursement rate of 81 percent.

“This performance aligns with the OVP’s very satisfactory rating in the 2024 Annual Performance Review conducted by the Department of Budget and Management – an external assessment that affirms sound fiscal discipline and effective budget execution,” the OVP said.

In her message, Duterte said the report was more than just a collection of data. “This report reflects the pulse of our mission and the values that guided our work throughout the year,” she said.

Duterte is set to face the Senate impeachment court on July 6.

Last year, the OVP said it assisted 180,704 families and distributed 180,716 relief items to calamity victims, especially of the volcanic eruption in Negros in April and the Cebu earthquake in September.

Its Kalusugan Food Truck complemented the OVP’s relief operations and provided hot meals to 5,265 volunteer responders who took part in the rescue, clearing and recovery operations.

Its Relief for Indigents and Individuals in Crisis and Emergencies program also succeeded in assisting 74,862 people last year. It distributed 10-kilo sacks of well-milled rice or food boxes containing five kilos of rice and essential canned goods, targeting marginalized sectors including farmers, fisherfolk, women, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples and calamity-affected communities.

It also gave livelihood grants and support to 3,987 individuals and 19 civil society organizations, including P150,000 grant to more than 20 widows from the Lemsnolon Native Handicraft Makers Association in T’Boli, South Cotabato, to help them strengthen their traditional clothing and handicraft enterprise.

In its PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners Campaign, the OVP said it distributed 600,000 bags nationwide since 2023.
