Philippine Statistics Authority-7 moves to new location

Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - The regional office of the Philippine Statistics Authority formerly National Statistics Office has transferred to its new location at the downtown area in Cebu City effective yesterday.

The PSA-7 has moved from the JIF Building along M.J. Cuenco Avenue to the Hundred Island Building along Colon Street.

“Our new location is more accessible to the public since it is situated at the heart of the city,” said information officer Noel Rafols.

Rafols said that aside from the convenience that its new location can offer, the public can now expect better service from them.

“Our new building is properly arranged and organized. The space is fully airconditioned,” Rafols said.

Rafols is hoping that the mall management can provide an electronic numbering system in every level of the mall to allow the transacting public to go shopping while waiting for their priority number to be called.

“Samtang nagpa abot ang among mga  clients sa ilang priority number while nag-shopping or nangaon sila inside sa mall, makahibalo sila unsa na nga number ang sunod,” Rafols added. (FREEMAN)
