CEBU, Philippines - The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced in its website that all of their employees, including teachers, can now register for their official DepEd email accounts.

DepEd secretary Armin Luistro said that through this step, work and communication in the department will be easier with a more efficient process of transmittal and exchange of information and correspondence.

The DepEd email account is powered by Google and not only includes the email service but also many applications and tools that are useful in office management, classroom management, and file storage.
