2 hurt in mishap at Capitol Site
CEBU, Philippines - Two people were injured when the car they were riding was hit by a truck at the junction of Osmeña Blvd. and J. Llorente St., barangay Capitol Site late Tuesday night.
Based on the investigation, it was learned that that a Mercedes Benz sedan was hit by an Isuzu Forward truck.
Lucresio Alingasa, radio communication personnel of the City Traffic Operations and Management (CITOM), said that two motorcycles that were parked along the road were also hit.
He said that the male driver of the car had to be taken to the hospital due to facial injuries. His female passenger was also slightly injured.
SPO1 Dionesio Galo of the Cebu City Traffic Division said they still need to investigate the incident as not one of those involved has yet shown up at their office. — (FREEMAN)
