Woman beaten to death in Argao
CEBU, Philippines - A 35-year-old woman died of massive head injuries after her neighbor in Barangay Talaga, Argao hit her with a steel pipe yesterday morning following a heated argument.
Edwina Famat and suspect Jimmy Bulabog, 29, argued over a spring where they get potable water.
According to the police, Bulabog arrived at the spring first to fetch water. But before he could fill all his containers, Famat arrived to also fetch water. The victim put her container beside that of the suspect prompting the latter to get mad.
Bulabog reportedly told Famat to wait for her turn resulting to a heated argument.
The suspect went home but returned few minutes later with a 25-inch steel pipe and started whipping Famat to death.
Bulabog left Famat bathed with her own blood and escaped from the responding policemen. (FREEMAN)
