Pacman fan dies from heart attack

CEBU, Philippines - A 52-year-old avid fan of boxing champ and Saranggani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao died of a heart attack just a day after he collapsed while watching his idol fight Mexican boxer Antonio Margarito.

Roberto Ingbino, single, a resident of barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, was declared dead around 7 p.m. Monday by his physicians while being treated at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (a neighbor's pay-per-view television).

Ingbino was first rushed to the Talisay District Hospital but was later transferred to VSMMC in Cebu City.

According to his relatives, that was his second heart attack. The first attack came early this year, also triggered by extreme excitement while watching the Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight.

Ingbino's body was taken to his house in barangay Cansojong yesterday. (THE FREEMAN)
