CEBU, Philippines – A man was shot dead Tuesday in sitio Moryo-Moryo, barangay Tinaan, Naga City as a consequence of a dispute over a card game.
Victim, Victor Franco, 31, who incurred a gunshot wound to the head, was already dead when taken to the Minglanilla district hospital.
PO3 Francisco Codiñera of Naga Police Station said that before the incident, Franco and Edgardo Jumaoas, father of the alleged gunman "Ninjo," were drinking.
Police said both decided to go home after drinking enough.
When Franco was several meters from his house, "Ninjo" allegedly shot him reportedly upon orders of his father.
"Tong-its man kuno ang hinungdan ani ilang lalis ambot pud kung nganong nakig-inom ni siya nga kahibaw man unta nga nagdumot niya ang amahan," PO3 Codiñera said.
Codiñera said a .38 revolver was used to kill Franco.
