Dad suggests more medical missions for senior citizens

CEBU, Philippines – A Lapu-Lapu City councilor has suggested conducting free medical missions for senior citizens on a regular basis with medical practitioners in the city at the forefront of the undertaking.

Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Florito Pozon made the manifestation during the city council regular session in response to the resolution introduced by Councilor Eduardo Patalinjug.

With two members of the city council who are successful medical practitioners, he believes a yearly or monthly medical mission would be appreciated by the elderly.

The city councilor said there is a need to organize the number of medical practitioners in Lapu-Lapu and tap them for this laudable program.

Councilor Patalinjug, on the other hand, said one of the main thrusts of Mayor Paz Radaza's administration is to provide good service to senior citizens. (FREEMAN)
