Man shot by neighbor

CEBU, Philippines - A man landed at the hospital after he was shot by his neighbor in New Era, Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City early morning yesterday.

Police said the victim, Florante Colina, 54, was about to board his multi-cab to accompany his granddaughter to school when the suspect, Fernando Nicolas suddenly approached him and without any apparent reason, shot him to his thigh.

The incident happened at 7 a.m. while Colina was with his granddaughter, Winona.

The victim was immediately brought to Perpetual Soccour Hospital for treatment.

Responding policemen, SPO2 Ulyses Ragasa, PO3 Adventurado, and PO1 Lloyd Magdadaro of Mabolo Police Station arrested Nicolas even before he flees. (FREEMAN)
