CEBU, Philippines - Colonel Raul Dimatatac is the 560th Air Defense Wing of the Philippine Air Force base’s new commander.
After 33 years of service, 560th Air Base Wing (ABW) Commander Brig. Gen. Edgardo Mendoza formally retired the other day after turning 56 years old, the mandatory age for retirement in the armed services.
Dimatatac came from the Special Operations Wing (SPOW) base in Clark Air Base in Pampanga.
PAF Commanding General Lt. Gen. Oscar Rabena congratulated Dimatatac during the Testimonial Review and Change of Command Ceremony as the new Commander of the 560th ABW of the 2nd Air Division in Central Visayas.
In his valedictory address, Mendoza thanked all the men and women for the support they have given, which they maintained the good relationship between the AFP and PAF.
Mendoza has done a lot of community service during his stint, which Dimatatac vowed to continue the good relationship with the people. (FREEMAN NEWS)
