CEBU, Philippines - Who says we are all work and no fun?
The FREEMAN newspaper’s Family Day was held last Saturday at Portofino Beach Resort in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City to let the employees have fun, bond together and give meaning to the “team spirit” that has successfully brought the company to its almost 91 years of existence.
Employees were clustered into five teams with colors light blue, green, orange, purple and pink.
Eight games were held to promote friendly competition among the teams.
First place went to the Pink Team led by team captain Dick Batucan of the Circulation Department followed by the Purple Team headed by Kidstuff and Campus Watch Editor Ritchie Salgado on the second place.
Third placer is the Orange team led by team captain Andy Padigos of the Marketing Department. Fourth and Fifth placers are the Blue Team headed by Human Resource officer Jess Padin and Green Team led by Joseph Dematera respectively. — THE FREEMAN
