Gibo to meet governors, congressmen here today
CEBU, Philippines - After the success of his two-day campaign sortie here, Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard bearer Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro will again visit Cebu today, this time to met governors and congressmen, who are behind his candidacy.
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia said today’s meeting is important to finalize their plans for the May 10 local and national elections.
Garcia said that each governor will report the status of the Teodoro campaign in their province.
Last week, governors signed a manifesto reiterating their support to the presidential bid of Teodoro.
The move is part of the loyalty check among governors following the transfer of some governors to the Liberal Party and the Nacionalista Party.
Governor Garcia said, the two-day campaign sortie of Teodoro here was a huge success.
She said, the Cebuanos are united to support and make sure that Teodoro will be the next president of the country. – THE FREEMAN
