Chief Justice to grace court employees convention

CEBU, Philippines – Supreme Court Chief Justice Reynato Puno will be in Cebu as keynote speaker for the 13th National Convention/Seminar of the Philippine Association of Court Employees at the Cebu International Convention Center from July 1 to 3.

Officers of the newly-organized local chapters of PACE will also be inducted into office during the event.

PACE – Cities and Province of Cebu Chapter, Inc. is the main host of the convention. The Provincial Board has granted P50,000 financial assistance to PACE for the event.

Several activities are lined-up for the event, including an On-the-Spot Logo Design contest, Choral Fest Presentation during the fellowship and cultural night, launching of the search for Model Employee of the Year, and a live presentation by the dancing inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center. — Barbara Anne B.
