200 kids in Alcoy receive school supplies from bikers

CEBU, Philippines – Around 200 schoolchildren in Alcoy town benefited from the community outreach program carried out by the members of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club Philippines, said to be one of the oldest and largest motorcycle clubs worldwide.

The Outlaws who had embarked on a child-friendly journey distributed school supplies to kids of the Alcoy and Guiwang Elementary Schools recently.

The children, who are looking forward to the opening of classes tomorrow, received pencils, pad papers, ballpens, crayons, erasers, sharpeners, tubes of paste, pairs of scissors, rulers, bond paper, colored paper, and plastic envelopes from the bikers.

The distribution took place at the Alcoy Elementary School headed by school principal, Mr. Nicandro Anore.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Ma. Socorro Niere, principal of the Guiwang Elem. School, also helped in the distribution of free school supplies. Parents of the beneficiaries were also there to assist the children. The club was established in 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. — AJ dela Torre/MEEV (THE FREEMAN)
