Man arrested for marijuana possession in Danao

CEBU, Philippines – A 31-year-old man was arrested for possessing marijuana seedlings in barangay Dungga, Danao City.

Enriquez Bacalso of the same place was caught for possessing 52 marijuana seedlings inside his house by barangay tanods and elements of Danao City Police Station.

His arrest stemmed from a tip received by barangay captain Ireneo Rom.

The confiscated marijuana seedlings were turned over to the police station for proper disposal.

Police are now preparing to file charges against the suspect, who is currently detained at the Danao City Police Station. — Ana Coritha Desamparado/LPM (THE FREEMAN)
