The victim was rushed to the Carcar District Hospital but the attending physician pronounced him dead on arrival.
Barangay tanods arrested a certain Eleno Barcinilla, 39, a resident of the said place, immediately after the incident and turned him over to the police.
Authorities recovered an abandoned blue motorcycle which was later found out to be owned by Eleno’s nephew, 21-year-old Rey Barcinilla.
Police said the principal suspect of the crime is Rey, who was positively identified by the councilman’s son, Vicente.
