SPO3 Gaspar Magdadaro, head of Caubian Island’s police detachment, and members of barangay police and Bantay Dagat caught the five fishermen illegally fishing within the sanctuary area near island.
The police authorities confiscated a pump boat owned by Jonathan Amorin, a compressor, a hose, and other equipment used for fishing.
Mao nga ato g’yud gisampolan ang pagdakop nila,” SPO3 Magdadaro said.
