American found dead at Fuente inn
Cebu - A 90-year-old American was found dead inside his rented room at the Elegant Circle Inn along the Fuente Osmeña circle yesterday morning.
Scene of the crime operatives, however, said Franklin Oliver Blair, a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, died of natural causes.
A member of the inn’s staff was prompted to enter Blair’s room after he did not go down for breakfast yesterday.
Blair reportedly never missed going down by 6 a.m. to have breakfast since staying in the inn in 2005.
Blair was reportedly lying on the bed naked when found by a member of the hotel staff. He stayed at room 516.
A retired member of the US Navy, Blair reportedly came to stay in the Philippines since the death of his Filipina wife. He also stayed alone at the Elegant Circle Inn since three years ago.
