CEBU - In this season of love and sharing, tragedy struck a family of three as three people were found dead after a jealous fit.
Shocked neighbors in sitio Kalubihan, barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City discovered the bloodied bodies of Hazel Jimenez, 21, and her 5-year-old son, and that of her live-in partner, Joel Pepito, 32, hanging.
Neighbors suspect that Pepito, who hails from Yati, Liloan, stabbed Hazel and their son dead before killing himself.
Hazel, a native of Bantayan Island, sustained three stab wounds while the boy had two stab wounds on his chest.
Joel killed himself by tying a nylon rope around his neck.
The neighbors said that they heard the couple arguing at around 1 a.m. yesterday.

It was at 6 a.m. when the bodies of the mother and son were found by neighbors.
